Brooke, I’ve been meaning to write to you, but I can’t seem to tear myself away from the wedding pictures long enough! OMG, they are beyond beautiful. Thank you for doing such an amazing job — you completely and totally captured the emotion of the day — my stepmother was so choked up — she said there is so much joy evident in those pictures. You are amazing. Bill’s favorite is the black and white twirling one — I adore, adore the one of him sitting on the bar stool with a glass of champagne talking to someone over his shoulder. Let me know — really, Brooke, you completely captured how Bill and I feel about each other and our families — and you also managed to capture the love our families have for each other and for us. Dear Brooke, We just received the photos yesterday and I am (almost) speechless. I was up until 1:30am going through them and I am completely overwhelmed by your talent. I know you are probably around my age so I don’t mean to sound like I’m an older person looking at someone younger/ condescending, but for some reason I kept thinking, “Wow, her PARENTS must be so proud of her!!” Just amazing shots. I had an impression of your eye after seeing your sample photos but could not imagine how this would apply to our family and friends, I guess. The shots you captured of my father, of Liam (the ring bearer), your shots of the landscape, us, my bridesmaids, everything…I have never seen wedding photos like this. I also saw some shots of you in some other candid’s that others took and realized that you accomplished something not many wedding photographers are able to do. In many shots I realized I’d had no idea you were standing there…you “sneakily” crept around and avoided that whole stiff “my photo is being taken and I know it” look that is in many wedding photos. I cannot put to words how happy we are that we chose you as a photographer. We would love to work with you again and regarding the wedding photos you can know I’ll be singing your name from the rooftops any chance I get!
