We are expecting Miss Poppy Day next week or the week after, I’m sure she will come when she is ready and is least expected! I’m sooo excited we got the belly photos in before her arrival, I wanted to wait as late as possible!

Here are a few images that my wondersum associate photographer, Carrie, took of us last night. Not only is she fabulous to work with an an amazing photographer but she is an incredible mom and friend. She has 3 kids of her own and is so open about being a mom. I’m scared to pieces! Listening to her talk about how she deals with work and family is so enlightening and helpful. She is very logical with how she approaches “mommying” and thinks alot less with her heart than I think I would. If my child was yelling at me, my first instinct would be to yell back, but as she told me, that teaches them it’s ok to yell, approach it the way you wish they would. Well, yes, that makes perfect sense, but I’m not sure I would have thought of it. Heehee. I am so thankful to have her talent, expertise, patience and knowledge I could burst. I’m one lucky gal!

She won’t let me see all of them until she’s finished editing them but I was dying to see a few and these are some of her faves and so far mine! I will be posting more as soon as the stinker shows me!!!
