Debbie and Dave were married this past Saturday in Duck, NC at the gorgeous Saltaire House. I met the girls at the house early, for getting ready photos in the bridal suite. Debbie had nine bridesmaids and three flower girls, so there was a lot of laughter, hair and make-up and of course mimosa’s!
Dave and Debbie are obsessed with funny mustache’s! The theme was everywhere. Debbie had all her ladies apply fake mustache tattoo’s to their finger as a surprise to the groom!
As a gift to all the bridesmaids, Debbie handed out cute tote bags with their initials and a few surprises inside. She handed her future sister-in-law one with a private joke inside! It’s a gift they pass back and forth to members of the family, and what a perfect way to sneak it in! I love this photo with Debbie clapping and almost mimicking the praying hands on the box! David’s other sister is hooting on the side! Well played!
One of the bridesmaids made special collars for Debbie and David’s two black labs that were to be part of the ceremony.
So many ladies getting ready at one time. This photo shows a bunch of different stories going on at one time. Flower girl hair, Bridesmaid make-up, mimosa’s being made and deodorant.
David and his boys got ready at a beach cottage down the street. David and Debbie both carried a blue heart on them during the day with a picture of someone special to them that would not be attending the wedding but there in their hearts.
We were very impressed all the groomsmen were able to tie their own ties! Most wait until day of and Youtube it!!
The couple met up before the ceremony on the beach for a first look. We love this ‘private’ time before the ceremony where the couple get to enjoy each other before all their friends and family do.
The couple were photo-bombed by two groomsmen, so they had the idea to photo-bomb a group of beachgoers who were watching our first look and portraits! They were such a hoot!
I think it choked just about everyone up when Debbie, walking alone down the aisle, stopped and David walked down to meet her to walk her the rest of the way. It sprinkled during the ceremony, and afterwards a groomsman remarked that in fact it did not rain, it was just water pouring out of his face!
A beautiful ceremony on the lawn at the Saltaire House preformed by Cynthia O’Neil. David and Debbie had four sets of married couples speak during the ceremony representing each stage of marriage, from newlyweds to a couple celebrating fifty years!
The couple were ecstatic to be pronounced husband and wife! Debbie had the cutest face as the left through the vintage doors provided by Renee Landry Style.
The couple have a seven month old named Paxton. He joined them during the ceremony and afterwards for some fun photo time!
Debbie found a few bikes outside and took one for a spin! We had to talk her out of a ride down the street!!
The couple had the best dancers at their reception! From the first song Soundwavz played, it was a full floor of high energy dancing! The town of Duck has a 10pm noise curfew, but they were moving the party inside to continue into the night!
Many thanks for inviting us to share in your perfect day! We wish you many, many years of happiness!
