This little miss is our Sassasaurus Rex. I have a good idea that she won’t get run over in life as she is stubborn, smart and will argue with anyone over anything, fact or not. She questions everything and tells us on a daily basis that “She knows what’s best for her because she is the boss.”
While it’s trying now, I am hoping this attitude and confidence continues and is never broken. I want her to be a strong, independent young lady and always stand up for what she thinks is right. She is also incredibly silly, loving and compassionate.
We headed over to Cousin Caroline’s to take Piggie Pie to play and eat acorns from her yard. Poppy is going to be a flower girl in my sister’s wedding next weekend and her dress came in, so of course she wanted to wear it! I was a bit concerned it would get dirty but it can always be washed! They had fun playing at her old store, blowing bubbles, climbing trees and playing house.
When we came back to the farm, all the snow geese were right behind our house, we had to go for a little romp in the field!
We’re so excited to be chosen by our fabulous brides on Wedding Wire to receive this award. We’re honored to be listed among the other wonderful vendors, are incredibly thankful for our past clients and look forward to working with our future brides!
Our husband brothers are hilarious together! John is pulling Randy on a boogie board behind the lawn mower while Randy is just inches away from falling in the water filled ditch – all while cheering each other on. While this trick was ok, the next one involved one of them being flung into a pine tree. Ouch.
The kids enjoyed the snow for a little at a time, these families aren’t used to the cold!! Come on summer!!
Meet Peter Bishop, he’s in charge of the Economic Development in Currituck County. He needed some updated head shots for social media, website and his business card.
Being the super stylish fella he is, he brought lots of different options from coats, ties, glasses, no glasses… I love the glasses.
It’s so hard to believe sweet little Sifer is 2 years old already!! She is the most easy going and loving little lady. She’s up for any adventure and always seems to be in a good mood! When she’s tired, she’ll fall asleep anywhere, no fuss.
Until this shoot, I always thought Sifer looked just like her daddy, Hunter, now I see that Sifer has her mom’s beautiful smile that lights up the whole room!
Because she’s a February baby, many of our shoots are in the winter and the last two winters we’ve lucked out and had snow!!
We are so lucky to have the snow geese living in the fields behind our home, unfortunately, you can’t predict when they will be here or out on another adventure. Thank goodness for our hubby’s going to find them and sending them back to us!
Hunter is a crabber and hunting guide and owner of I Got Your Crabs and is very in touch with all things wildlife so the snow geese in the background are super suiting to their family.
And now this little bean is 2 years old, she makes my heart smile.
Kate & Andy had me smiling their whole maternity session at Kitty Hawk Pier!! She is absolutely gorgeous and has the most beautiful little dimples and to top off having wondersum models, we had 60 degree weather after a week of snow!! How lucky are we??
The beach was perfect, it started off foggy and then the sun came out and we still had some snow on the dunes, absolutely gorgeous!
Congratulations lovebugs, you’re going to be amazing parents!!
So far 2014 has had the most snow on the Outer Banks that I’ve ever seen!! It’s been a fun adventure for all of us beach bums! You know we’re not prepared when we’re sledding on surfboards, boogie boards and trash can lids!
Emmy Bean and her daddy pants had a day off to play in the snow – Currituck Style! Complete with camo, a duck call and shot gun shells for their snow man’s eyes and nose. They even added decoys and a duck blind around it!
Angie looks absolutely amazing, I can’t believe she just had her beebster a few weeks ago! Here is a link to her maternity portraits. Baby Rex is full of smiles and loves watching his big brother, Kai, who is head over heels in love with his little brother. It may help that Kai’s favorite thing in the world is dinosaurs and his brother’s name is Rex, heehee.
This photo cracks me up, I can just see them in a couple of years, Kai tickling Rex and them rolling around laughing and laughing.
We had the honor of photographing Gena and her amazing ladies, Danielle, Christina, Esra and Sabrina of Platinum Party Planning.
These girls are classy, organized and fabulous wedding planners. They keep everyone on time and make the bride, groom, their family and friends days so much more relaxed. It’s really nice to be told what to do and where to go and have someone not related to keep everyone on time and to check with the other vendors to make sure they have the timeline and are in place for all big events.
