It was wondersum to see Rebecca, Greg and Audrey and to meet baby Tyler! They got married in Hatteras a few years ago, we had the best time trashing her dress and then the next day I got to photograph Audrey’s 7th birthday party, so fun! Tyler is a hoot, he LOVES the water, all he wanted was to jump in!!

The last time I got to photograph Davis, he was 8 months old, now he’s up running, jumping, and playing with Nelson, they are sooo sweet together!! My favorite, munchkins and their dog friends!

It really is amazing how quickly time passes. It seems like just yesterday I was bringing home my baby boy! And today he is 2 years old! Every bit a boy and a toddler! It seems that his way of getting what he wants is to hit and bite! Whew! Always keeping me on my toes. But really, he is the biggest sweet heart and at the end of the day he covers me with kisses and snuggles right into my arms. What more can you ask for?
So, I wanted to post this with some of my favorite pics from the past 2 years so that everyone can celebrate with us!

I met Randy + Candace from them coming to the Acoustic Sunsets at Sanctuary Vineyards every Thursday night, they live right across the street, I can’t believe I haven’t met them before now! John (my hubby) told me about them and suggested I go knock on their door and ask them to be my friend, so sweet, right? I was a bit too embarrassed to do that but luckily, we did make friends eventually!
Candace is an amazing painter, you can see lots of her work on her facebook page.
She painted my belly cast for me, a family of Dodo birds, my hubby calls me his little Dodo, so the cast has a mom, dad and baby dodo on it. It was inspired from a mug my best friend had made for me, the dodo family was her idea!
Randy and Candace have been together nonstop since highschool!!! Amazing right?? They are still just as in love today as they were when they met. Their whole family is so close and loving. It was such a treat to be able to document this for them, I hope I did their love justice as there’s no way to show how much they care for one another with photos. You have to hear them speak to one another and see the quiet glances they give each other to really understand.

I had the best time with this family, they were soooo creative and wanted something totally different from anything they had seen before. We started out at Pirate’s Cove and took photos around the docks, then we went to Oregon Inlet and she set up a couch and a fancy dining table for photos, not only that but she brought sparklers and dressed everyone is such cute and fun outfits! I LOVED the tutu!! We barely missed a storm coming through but it gave us a beautimus sky!!

I have been looking forward to Amanda and Trae’s wedding since I met her and her mom in January! They are such a genuinely sweet and thoughtful family, it was an honor to document all of them! The first dances were my favorite part of the day, all the family and bridal party were crying the happiest tears.
They had their reception at the Ascension Home in Duck, NC, it was amazing!!! The home is huge and the decks and pool area make the perfect place for a party! The bridesmaids even hopped in the pool at the end of the reception.
I LOVED Amanda’s dress and shoes, white cowboy boots! What could be better??? She was a dancing machine, when she turned her dressed twirled with her, it was perfect!
I wish I could bring all of them home to live with me, it would be the happiest and bubbliest home ever!!!

Kate and Lee have been planning this wedding for so long. Everything was absolutely perfect and gorgeous. The flowers were such a pretty contrasting purple and green by the fantabulous Holiday House. Their ceremony was held at one of my most favorite locations; The Whalehead Club. And Nannette with The Proper Setting was the super duper wedding planner! She always does such a wondersum job and I LOVE working with her! Kate and Lee couldn’t have asked for better weather! I had tons and tons of fun playing with them and the bridal party! Here is a slideshow of many favorites! Enjoy!

These two are so totally in love! Just before our photo shoot Rob asked his loverbuns to marry him! Right on the top of the Hatteras Lighthouse. How Romantic! She was completely surprised! And I was completely excited to take pics of them all freshly engaged! How sweet, I always love being part of someone’s special moments! Thanks for having me! Here are a few of my faves.

I think that this next picture captured their emotion perfectly!

The light was just so delicious that night!
